The most conspicuous rituals are Manyunan, in which all of the young daha (young women) dress head-to-toe in their best gringsing fabric and other accessories and take their places on age-old ritual swings, which are then rotated by the teruna (young men).
The swing represents the cyclical aspect of life; these youthful Tengananese will keep the wheels moving for another generation.
